Terms
Last updated October 30, 2026.
The short version: UMA is in beta, what you save is yours, and please use it kindly.
The service
UMA is run by RM Solutions Group Inc., Stamford, Connecticut, USA. By creating an account you agree to these terms and to the Privacy page.
A private beta
UMA is in private beta. Features will change, some things may not work, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. Please keep your own copy of anything important: you can download all your data any time from Account.
Your account
- You need an invite during the beta, and must be at least 13.
- Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
- You can delete your account at any time.
What you save is yours
You own what you put into UMA. You let us store and process it only to run UMA for you: to save it, search it, answer your questions and send it back to you. We don't sell it and don't use it for advertising.
Answers and suggestions
UMA uses AI (Claude, by Anthropic) to understand what you tell it and to answer questions from your memories, and Google Maps to find places. These can be wrong: a store may be matched to the wrong place, or an answer may mix things up. Check anything that matters, like an address or a price, before relying on it.
Please don't
- Use UMA to break the law, or to store other people's private information without a good reason.
- Try to get into other people's accounts or data, or overload or interfere with the service.
- Copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service.
Ours
The UMA app, its design and its name are ours. UMA's technology is patent pending. Store information from Google Maps belongs to Google and its sources.
Ending things
You can stop using UMA and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, and if we ever close UMA we'll give you notice and time to download your data.
The legal part
UMA is provided “as is”, without warranties, especially during the beta. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months (during the free beta, that's nothing). These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut.
Changes and questions
We'll update this page if the terms change, and tell you in the app if the change matters. Questions? Use the contact form.
